    The reason people fight in Europe is simple: That's where the money is.

    Where else can Jeremy Bates go and fight and get paid 20K? Or any other sub-standard heavyweight?

    Notice, Brian Minto only takes risks in Europe. Why? Because they make the losses worth his while over there.

    Germany and Russia pay fighters well because the sponsors actually invest in the sport. In America, they don't invest nearly as much.

      Europe is trash. Thank God Roy and B-Hop never went over there to get robbed if it went to the cards. Can't box for **** so they rob us on the cards

          Yeah, it's no secret that most fighters make much more in Germany etc than in the U.S.
          Only our very top guys do better financially in the U.S.

              I would never in my life let one of my fighters go over there if I was a trainer, promoter whatever

              Taylor should tell Calzaghe or Froch or Kessler or whoever to kiss his ass if they ever expect him to travel over there to fight
