I agree and like the Benitez-Leonard, Barrera-Morales, and Mayweather Jr.-Judah examples. However, I disagree that one would believe Azumah didnt have skills. He most certainly did have power, but they didnt call him the professor for nothing. He most certainly did have skills also, and watching him and Whitaker mix it up to me, was a thing of beauty.
As far as skills are concerned............

Im loving and agree with Vasquez-Marquez, Marquez-Barrera, Toney-McCallum, and the Duran-Hagler fights. Great examples I think.Comment

When two guys are matched up well like in terms of skill, and end up having a trilogy like Marquez/Vazquez and Barrera/Morales it really shows me how beautiful boxing can be. The average fan doesn't pick up on the subtle details but I can watch those 6 fights over and over again and I'm still in awe. Poetry in motion is the best way to describe it.Comment

Absolutely, Whitaker-McGirt is an excellent example. Im thinking Spinks-Judah I. They put on a great show of skill that night.Comment
