For him to already start disrespecting manny is already making me sick.

When it comes down to it Mayweather needs to learn a thing called respect, and manny will be the one to beat it into him.
    roach started the disrespect thing......

plus, where u from? floyd SAID manny is a good fighter, but i'll whoop his ass. still not seeing the disrespect, aint nothing wrong wit a lil' trash talking. it ****es up the fights. what should floyd do, kiss manny's ass??? gtfoh

floyd was #1 p4p, and lost it b/c HE RETIRED. the respect thing goes both ways.

It's funny that De La Hoya wasn't shot before the fight....

it was a general consensus that DLH wasn't at the top of his game, and everybody felt that fighting once a year thing would come back to bite him soon enough. most ppl just felt the weight advantage would make the rest of that **** not matter much......but NOONE was calling DLH a "great" fighter b4 the pacman fight.

But still.....can we agree that DLH wasn't much different from the Forbes fight?? If Pacquiao fought him then, it would've been the same result... And the Forbes fight wasn't much different than the Mayweather fight. Go back and watch DLH-Pacquiao, and watch Oscar..

                  Floyd will beat Pac soundly.

we'll see if Pac can get past Rick, that one's a toss up.

Funny how people are calling DLH shot, but if he did KO Pac everyone would be on his jock like a third nut.

i disagree. DLH clearly wasn't right in the pacman fight.

idk, i just question a fighter when they're in a fight "not fighting back" at all. i mean even roach said he didn't think dlh "could pull the trigger anymore."

but you're absolutely right.....it WAS a great win for manny. i won't take anything from him. he made DLH look just a retired "as he should be." he completely outhussled, outpunched, and outfought DLH the entire way through, he thoroughly embarrassed a fighter in a way not too many have. AND not too many ppl gave him a chance, he was a heavy underdog....

my only gripe is when people (not you) try and make it the BIGGEST victory ever in boxing....it was a dominant win over a fighter at the end, or nearing the end of a career. what does it prove, in actuality. to me, all it proves is that manny IS a good fighter, and that fans, commentators, and writers alike, can't judge the winners of fights beforehand, based on things like height, size, and reach.....what else does the fight say?

let's just keep the win in perspective, that's all i'm saying.
