The more money you have, the bigger amounts you can lose when you're getting screwed over or screwing yourself over.

IMO Holyfield shouldn't be fighting regardless of the purse. He sounds punch drunk already at times and thats sad so fighting again makes no sense.

this is a crazy fight, who is there right mind would give holyfield a title shot at his age with his recent record. I backed holyfield against tyson and glad that the better human being came through. But the real deal is going to get beaten up but someone so huge it's really impossible to see how he thinks he could win this fight.

Good luck to him! He looks in good shape. I hope he pulls it off.

All the 'financial advice' in the world won't stop some boxers from thinking with their balls and not their brains. Holyfield has enough kids to form a soccer team, and pays enough alimony and child support to finance one.

I honestly dont think hes there just for the money. Holyfield seems like he really wants to be on the top again, as delusional as that is.

yall gotta remember that he still has that 10 million dollar house that he can sell at any time, and 700,000 aint too bad if you ask me.

whats odd is that hes sounding less punch drunk now than the last time I heard him. whats goin on here...

I bet a guy from my gym 20 bucks Valuev would win. He backed Holyfield, obviously. I made my case that all Valuev really had to do was this, (I hugged a bag) for 12 rounds and he'd get a gift decision, seeing as the fight's in his area.

Anyone have a time/link to the match?

He has about 400,000 children to feed!
