What I want to know is who does Top Rank actually think is going to buy a PPV of tune-up fights? Arum and these people are f#cking crazy. These anything ass PPV fights have to stop.

Cotto should make easy work of the European kid. He might carry the fight on a little longer than most expect just to get the feel of a fight again and work out some of the rust. The only way Jennings will beat him is if the punishment he took from Margarito ruined him for his future fights. Kind of like what happened after Vargas got whipped by Trinidad. Not that Vargas ever had a granite chin but it got worse after that fight. Cotto should probably cut his losses and not fight Margarito again. He doesn't have the type of movement to keep away from him. He's a very good boxer puncher. Not a good boxer only. He has to get in there to throw punches and that's where the problem is. He'll feel that sting and remember the 1st fight. I think he could actually get put away quicker in the 2nd fight. I think Margarito has his number. Margarito went from being an old fashioned 15rd fighter (which I think it should still be 15rds in a championship fight. It seperates the men from the boys) to being an intense 12rd fighter. That's more dangerous because he won't get tired and can keep pushing forward throwing plenty of meaningful punches. But I give Cotto credit because in this day of age boxers wait for someone to get old or battered before they challenge. Boxing used to be about fighting a guy that was in his prime just like you and testing yourself. Now it's about waiting for the right moment and opportunity to fight someone when they're vulnerable. Cotto is a hell of a fighter regardless of him losing to Margarito again.

This card was going to be on HBO but they turned it down. Like they turned down Taylor-Froch. *** HBO and how they try to control the sport. Theyd rather Pavlik fight Roy Jones and Cotto fight De La Hoya and I gurantee they buy it and make 24/7's.

But i wish Showtime would have picked this card up. Cotto went to Showtime for the Quintana fight and I bet HBO wished they ended up showing that.

I wish this card wasnt on PPV, but Cotto is my favorite fighter and always has been and I cant even imagine not watching a live Cotto fight.

Seriously! Im one of Cotto's biggest fans on this forum, but i refuse to spend money to watch 2 tune-up fights! Then people wonder why UFC is becoming more popular than boxing.

I understand why HBO turned down a card full of tune-up fights. Especially if Cotto, Pavlik and Arum were asking for too much money. They could took this card to Versus instead of going the PPV route. That **** is crazy no way shape form or fashion can you justify those fights being on PPV.

I think/hope Versus is going to do for boxing what the ****e Channel did for UFC.
