This is bullcrap, Toshioka isn't even ranked by the WBC and now he's the champ? Genaro Garcia is also waaaay down on the rankings around 10 or 11, I believe. They should have number 1 and number 2 fight for the title and that would be Marquez and Gonzales. Concepcion is also ranked number 3 and could take the place of either fighter in case one backs out. Any combination of those three fighters would be a much more interesting fight than Nishioka vs. Garcia, not to mention the fact that those are tho one who should be fighting for the interim title.

That would have been a perfect fight for both fighters. Concepcion wants to prove himself as a legit contender and Gonzalez wants to prove that his loss to another Filipino was a fluke. Has war written all over it.

it's an option for Vazquez now that he is the Emeritus Champion. But not a priority of his at the moment.
