all the smaller cable stations and promotors should get together and have free quality streams. theyd make money on advertising from the millions worldwide who would watch on computer.
or charge $5 for ppv fights. by shear numbers they would make out.

as it is now i don't mind watching ppv streaming in german, chinese, filipino or spanish.

well that's the problem with these streams, HBO doesn't get any money from the people that get to illegally watch the fights, so copyrighted or not .. how much $$ if any is HBO making from Justin.TV taking it's (it's being HBO's ) coverage and broadcasting it to whomever?

rounded up with tax, $30 would be pretty reasonable for PPV .. however when talking about the bigger PPV events, such as an HBO or Showtime pay per view .. they don't cost $30.

We should make a private group to share the streaming links.

But they should lower the price on some PPV's, or soon they'll have people paying $69.95 for a major fight.
          No ****!

I paid $64.95 for the DLH vs Pacquiao fight in HD, **** gets pricey but I don't order every PPV. Boxing promoters should be streaming fights live on the internet like on yahoo, they have great quality streams.

Instead, they've done away with PPV, hence Margarito-Mosley.... I don't unsdertand why they don't just make all PPVs a price like 29.99 or 34.99, so many more people would buy PPV's, but I guess they figure $50 works.

Won't do any good, the people doing the streaming will always be one step ahead, and the people doing the stopping will always be in a reactionary role.

Live boxing streams are a godsend. Saved me a heap of dough since I got broadband this year. Screw HBO, they're killing boxing with their overpriced PPV farces. I'd rather watch Setanta anyway, they've got the right idea on how boxing should be broadcast.

Valuev vs Holyfield has nothing to do with HBO.
