I don't get why any respect could be lost because Dawson had no choice considering Tarver's rematch clause.

I lost a little respect for Dawson because he should have said something like "yeah, I'll give him a rematch if we can work something out" during the post-fight interview when the audience were booing him. Even if it was a ****ing lie he could have done that. He knew it was way closer than 116-112. He knew he took a beating.

This is not HATE. Get it right. This is just FAIR. I have no reason to hate Dawson, but I have a reason to think he could have lessened the blow on Johnson somewhat.
