    George Foreman fighting in 2009!

Now that the title has got your attention I wanted to bring up an interresting subject. Since everyone sees this era of heavyweight boxing as such a lackluster bunch of pugs, I was wanting to post a poll to see who all agreed or do not agree that George Foreman would have never been able to beat a current title belt holder in this era, while he was able to have success against a supposedly stronger group of talent in the late 80's to the mid-90's. I think Big George would get sparked out by the likes of either Klitschko and beaten soundly by Valuev, Chagaev or even David Haye. Let me know your thoughts on the matter because I think that this heavyweight era has more talent than it is given credit for and that Tyson, Holyfield's and Lewis' title reigns were a little over hyped.

Note* This poll is referring to Foreman's chances if he returned now instead of 1987 at the age he was then, not if he had returned now @ his current age.

Big George was awesome but I cannot imagine him beating a current title holder.

Big George was awesome and think he could secure a title against a weak current title holder.

Too hard to call. I'll just let history be the judge.

    The poll is expired.

Moorer was atleast as good as or better than Haye, both had suspect chins.

I believe old George could have very well beaten Valuev or Ibragimov, not to mention Briggs (whom George did beat at 48 years of age when Briggs was in his prime and got robbed) who a champion recently.

I think George, in his comeback was too stationary and would get pummeled by Wlad.

Note* Foreman before his original retirement was an absolute fricken beast!
