Oscar lost all his big fights, Tyson won some of his.
Who ranks highers on the ATG list..De La Hoya or Tyson?

Oscar has accomplished more, so many weight divisions. Tyson was great, but let's be honest, he was a huge underachiever. Had he stay with Rooney and kept away from the things & people that destroyed his life, it might have been a different story.Comment

Cant believe people pick Tyson , he beat nobody , the level of competition Oscar has fought is light years above Tyson who made a name knocking over stiffs and old men , Evander showed the boxing class of Mike Tyson and Mije looked ordinary because he was , I see a lot of young guys are impressed with a padded KO record more than battling true great fighters .Comment

i ask this same question in a post about a week ago. its funny people say either tyson by far or delahoya by far. i think they were very similar career wise and should be ranked very close but i give the edge to tyson just on ferosity(spell check) alone.Comment

what does mainstream appeal have to do with ATG status? you people kill me with that nonsense. you rank a guy by what he does in the ring, not his appeal. otherwise, isn't Gatti an all time great? Jesus ChristComment

Tyson like it or not was a perfect fighter for everyone involved in his prime best thing ever he is like 2pac is to hip hop at his prime he embodied what boxing was about skilled vicious and insane yet fully in control he was the kind of guy that was intimidating just being on tv as a kid I loved Mike but was afraid of him no question.Comment
