When i first heard Delahoya had to fight at 147 i knew he was going to come in weak as **** and lose. Then of course the hype and bull**** on these boards i went for Delahoya then after seeing 24/7 i thought the weight doesn't seem to harm Delahoya. There editing skills are great. We had a few interviews and people were saying Delahoya was looking like ****. Valero was beating up Delahoya. But we saw 24/7 and Delahoya looked great in training, but wasn't the case.

Its starting to have an undeniable pattern..Even these countdowns somewhat brainwash the general public into thinking both fighters are coming in 100% ready for anything and everything...Hatton Mayweather, Pavlik Hopkins, Jones Calzaghe, DLH PAC, everyone was convinced by HBO that these were all gonna be good competitive fights to say the least...Anyone else think HBO is brainwashing people? And do you think boxing would be better off without these countdowns and 24/7?

      STFU *******

LOL @ your attempt at damage control.

        You're a moron. Face it.

You, along with about 90% of the boxing community, thought this was going to be a completely lopsided fight.

Well, you were all right in that regard.

You're right, I much rather watch a show telling me the fight is going to suck. Someone call HBO and tell them this.

Can't blame HBO. They're doing they're job. They're only promoting the event.

It's on the fighters to be prepared.

What you guys are failing to realize, is that these 24/7 episodes are made to appeal to the 'casual fan'

Not the hardcore boxing enthusiast who will most likely be tuning in anyways. (Or by judging from this site on fight nights, watching on Sopcast and other free online links...LOL)

These are meant to give people an insider's insight, so that it might close the distance between what their perception of a boxer is, and themselves as an average working class citizen.
