LOL most trainers say that, they said it to joe before the last round against RJJ .... before someone starting cracking up in the corner

As for Froch, I think Joe would totally outclass Froch. If Joe trains properly Froch has no chance.

So unless Joe wants a rematch with Bernard to settle the score, there's not much out there for him.
well dawson is a young fresh LHW champion, who has proven hes not a chump, although tarver and johnson are on there way out as well... they can still beat B level fighters IMO... and Dawson proved that he isnt a B level fighter

He should have been nervous it was a close fight, and he was motivating his man to go out there and give it his all.

Trainers say all kinds of stuff in corners. I have seen some say the same thing when their fighter is clearly ahead, or some tell their man they are doing great when they are clearly losing.

I've only seen Dawson fight against Johnson and that was a very close fight. I never saw the fight agains Tarver but I heard he put on an impressive performance. But I don't think the fight is big enough, Dawson is an up and coming fighter and it's unlikely that he'll get a chance to fight Joe until he's established himself. Who knows, Joe may retire and come back in a couple of years.

Nah, not really Tarver was slow as a god damn turtle.

But for some reason, this is never talked about.

By the way, I have a lot of respect for Joe and think he is a tremendous fighter.
I mean...if I was a trainer and its a close fight I would tell my fighter to try and KO him also...even if I knew we're ahead by a round or 2, in my head I'd be thinking of how the judges may see it differently.. I'm sure this is what Enzo was feeling at the time..
