2nd Most Skilled Fighter of All-Time?

Ray Robinson takes 1st place, and also has the best resume.

People say Henry Armstrong has the 2nd best resume of all-time. Was he the second most skilled?

Who was the second best fighter to ever fight ability wise?

There are just so many fighters.

The most skilled fighter I have ever seen, and this includes Robinson, is Pernell Whitaker.

He just looked like god in the ring when he was on.

People who get paid exclusively to hit other people could not land punches on this man... just insane.

Armstrong wasn't the second most skilled but he had the second best resume in my opinion. Greb is often ranked in the top 3 but there is no film of him and he wasn't described as a particularly skillful boxer.

Willie Pep is one name that deserves a mention. Joe Gans and Benny Leonard were great old time boxers.

I saw Greb shadow boxing once... it was pretty ugly... Shawn Estrada showed better technique in his last fight than Greb did in that video.

I know nothing about Benny Leonard either. I boxrec'd him once upon a time and saw that he got a robbery in his comeback fight, and got boo'd a lot.

                Was he a technical boxer?

Other side question for no reason other than just for my own curiousity... was he white or black?

I don't know...I don't even think SRR was the most skilled. Atleast, not from what I've seen. I'll go with what I've seen

                  Pernell Whitaker
                  Jersey Joe Wolcott

I'd like to think Pep...but there is NO video that proves he was that GREAT of a defensive fighter

                  Duran
                  Wilfred Benitez
                  B-Hop
                  James Toney
                  Mayweather

Eder Jofre deserves mention. I've only seen a few of his fights, but the guy was great. Nat Fliesher called him the bantamweight Ray Robinson. Pretty high praise in my opinion.
