One Nation that has how many "Great" fighters active?

It was much harder for Tyson given he had the likes of Bo Jackson and Michael Jordan to compete with, as well as Wayne Gretzky, and he surpassed them when he was at his best.

Tyson was bigger than Jordan says it all.

Tyson was so big people still talk about him and showed up to his fights despite going on the decline after Spinks...losing to Douglas...being found guilty of ****...going to prison and then coming out a shell and selling out big arenas.

Mike Tyson's Punch-Out is bigger than Manny

Tyson has more books and documentaries on him than Jesus.
OK, maybe not that many, but for a boxer it equals it.

boxing in the 80's was free, tyson was big during that time, in the 90's is when they started doing the ppv crap.

and let's not forget, boxers fighting below the bigger divisions tend to draw lesser attention than in the heavyweights.

        but now times are changing.

Which was part his downfall when he didn't have that support system anymore. To much pressure for one kid to handle.

Even Ali; he went with the ******s and Allah to deal with it and I'm not sure he was near as popular as Tyson at that age. Ali came bigger later.
