Kessler still doesn't have a win as good as Adamek on his resume

The more I think about it, the more I feel that Taylor should just succumb to HBO's pressure (they want him to fight Kessler or Winky) and take the Kessler fight.

As a fan of Taylor I don't think it's the best 2nd fight for him to take at 168, but as a fan of the sport it is clearly the biggest fight in the division.

I'd like to see Taylor get at least one more fight's experience at SMW before taking on the perceived top dog, but the bottom line is he should have all the motivation in the world to train hard and bring his A game to fight Kessler. Not only to regain the respect of fans that he has lost, but to regain the respect of HBO who is getting impatient with his performances of late and seem to be telling him to **** or get off the pot.

The only downside to making Taylor/Kessler now, especially for HBO, is that it could be a MUCH bigger fight later this year if both of these guys got a quality SMW win under their belts before facing off. If Taylor were to beat Froch for the WBC and Kessler beat a name American opponent, then this could be billed as a super fight. Right now it is not even a PPV fight the way I see it.

Froch will fight him for sure.

Might as well get Froch in Denmark.

Though I guess Froch will have to have a mandatory but that mandatory is Taylor who doesn't seem so interested.

Taylor has to fight either anyway to stop it from happening.

Finally the top guys will start to fight eachother.

All three fighters could do worse than Sakio Bika.

What the point of making this point. The poster was trying to imply that Dawson is wanting to fight a old man when he has too

I do think this talk of who ducked who between Dawson-Kessler is really ******.

                    - Kessler as the SMW champ wanted a fight at SMW, Dawson rejected.
                    - Dawson as the LHW champ wanted a fight at LHW, Kessler rejected.
                    - Kessler did offer a catchweight of 170, 2 mores up for Kessler, 5 pounds down for Dawson. Not really fair especially considering its easier to put on the weight than it is to lose it.

If I was Dawson and any catchweight is mentioned I would not go below 172 as this would still be a LHW fight and he is the LHW Champ so why would/should he come down anymore than that. I'm a big Kessler fan but just look at both sides and don't be so biased. I personally think if Kessler wants the big names, expecting the big names to come down from 175 to 168 isn't going to happen. If you can't get a Taylor or Pavlik then try and get on the undercard to a big HBO fight against another US SMW Up and Comer. That way if you look impressive then you get HBO on side and the big fights will happen.

I don't know why he called him out.

Anyways the point i'm making is that Dawson doesn't need Kessler, so he wont lose anything from not fighting Kessler where as Kessler does as he wants the exposure in America.
