Early Betting Line: V. Klitschko vs. David Haye

    bet365.com

    V. Klitschko -333
    D. Haye +200

Have also seen other sites listing Vitali as high as -450 favorite.

The bookies have spoken, Haye isn't much of a threat.

I would tend to agree with them. Haye has a big mouth and has excited a lot of people with his action style and personality, but actually beating Vitali? Its a stretch.

they are right way more often than you or I or anyone else around here.

4-1 favorites win about 95% of the time in boxing, this one is a lock.

          Maybe.

Just remember that Oscar was a pretty heavy favourite with the bookies as was Pavlik.

I expect Vitali to take it, but upsets do happen in boxing.

Yea, I have to go with the bookies on this one.

I really don't see anyway Haye wins, unless Vitalis arm falls off..

When the fight was first made I thought this.

I'm not 100% sure now though. Haye hits like a truck. I know Vitali has an absolute iron chin but still..

I seriously don't see it man,

Haye will have to take punches to get close enough to land his big shots, and I don't think he will be able to do it. I mean, Vitali has only ever failed to stop 1 opponent, and Haye isn't exactly the best at taking punishment I just don't see it, Haye won't be able to avoid being hit enough to win it IMO.

Although, I do hope he wins

What if he makes Vitali come to him?

Vitali will still hit him, he will keep his distance with his jab. So the same problem arrises, Haye just can't take the punishment from Vitali to win IMO.

That's why I always wanted him to fight Wlad, at least then we know he can get something done if he lands big. Problem is, with Vitalis iron chin I doubt that Haye can hurt him
