jones kd was from forearm shot and hopkins was flash kd. calzaghes chin is granite and recovery second to no one. jones possibly the fastest 160+ after calzaghe ever and hopkins isnt slow either.

calzaghe rarely hurts anyone, he wins by outpointing you which he has mastered. its sad he broke his hands because he does have power to ko both in his prime.

Byrd had a damn good chin for a guy who wasn't naturally big. He had balls of steel doing what he did.

Getting dropped two fights in a row on right hands does nothing for his chances against the Klitschkos, who are big right hand punchers.
sultan ibragimov isnt in calzaghes league, ibragimov offered no footwork, head or upper body movement and just accepted defeat against wlad.

calzaghe would adapt to the range disadvantage and work his way around it using handspeed which sultan does not have.

He does hurt people. He wears them down with his lighter punches or "slaps".

Now, Vitali can take a full blown heavyweight punch and stay standing, gettin hit by Calzaghe wouldn't do anythin to him. The Klitch's are far too big for him. And its not like they're bad fighters themselves.

If Jones dropped him on a "forearm shot", the Klitschkos have bigger forearms by which to harm their opponents. Hopkins caught him with a perfect right hand, the southpaw killer. I can think of better tendencies to bring into a fight with a Klitschkos.

Jones is 39, almost 40, and Hopkins is 43. Not the fastest they've been, agreed?

Calzaghe's chin may be good against light-heavyweights but against heavyweights with much bigger KO percentages than Jones and Hopkins, it's immaterial.

You think a prime Calzaghe KOs both Klitschkos? What are they feeding you guys on Setanta?

the heavyweight division is garbage. vitali is old too 37 and is too slow to land a big shot, it will be like pacquiao - oscar.

prime calzaghe would tko wladimir but he would on ud vitali imo.

Walk me through this because I'm trying not to LOL.

Calzaghe would adapt to the range disadvantage, how? Closing the gap with foot speed? I think you'll agree that the Klitschkos both have snappier jabs than Calzaghe.

Calzaghe is too square so he wouldn't be able to slip the Klitschko jab. Plus adding on the weight to be able to make the heavyweight division would bog and slow him down.

The added weight would lead to his premature fatigue and make him much easier to tag.

Wow, just wow. I can't look at the sport on these terms, but you certainly can.

If Calzaghe could do that, he'd be up there fightin in the HW division. I'm a big Calzaghe fan but I just can't see him even coming close to beating the Klitschko's. They are the best in the HW, Joe was best at SM. Too much of a difference.

As it being for like Manny vs Oscar, Klitchko's won't be drained. They could wey 40 lbs more than Joe.
