Is Buddy Mcgirt unlucky, or is he just a ****ty trainer?

look at the fighters hes trained. they werent exactly amazing, and he gives fairly solid instructions in the corner.

hes better than someone like Floyd Senior, who lives off his sons name and gets big name fighters to train with him for that reason alone.

I think McGirt is a good trainer who always gives good instructions, I just think the fighters hes gotten havent been THAT great...

hes prolly my favorite current trainer...

especially because hes black.

I would agree with that, I think he does give good instructions. However, I think he baby's his fighters too much and doesn't really inspire them to win. He can also be a bit depressing too. Some say he's being a realist when he tells his fighters that they're out of it, but I think mindset means a lot and he's not very positive.
