Mayweather is the guy I love to hate, and I miss having him in the boxing scene. But as I was musing over the sport in its entirety, I thought about who was my own most hated man in the sport. I must say, without a doubt, Leonard Ellerbe. He ALWAYS says "Mayweather isn't thinking about boxing right now..." For the love of all that is holy... shut the @#$^ up! The man has worn gloves since he could walk, it is a physical impossibility for him to go a full 24 hours without having at least SOME thought of boxing. What Ellerbe says and what Floyd does are becoming increasingly seperate over time.

I dont see how his diehard fans can continue to support and defend this guy. Its quite obvious that he doesnt want any of the top WW's, so his ONLY other logical option should be Pacman. Should Hatton beat Pac, then a Floyd/Hatton rematch @ 140 would be huge. Floyd: "stop looking for easy paydays. You claim that you're the best right? Then show and prove"

Why would he have to fight WW when most of his fights were at very low weight. What is wrong if he can make 140 and fight Hatton THE NUMBER AT JR WW. People give Mayweather no credit beating Hatton at 147 they must give him heaps of credit beatiing him at 140

How about wanting to fight the guy who took you number one p4p spot? that sounds like the fighter thing to do

              Exactly!.....

According to Floyd "it's not about proving who the best is", yet his hard core fans say he IS the best...

You're right. Only difference is, Marg was already set to fight Cotto given he got past Cintron. Knowing Floyd, he'll rematch Hatton, then retire AGAIN, and sell us fans short of a showdown with Pac, or anyone of signifigance at WW.
