If Floyd does come back, I would actually want him to fight Margarito. It would be less money than Pac, but it would be a greater win if he could pull it off. He then gets his P4P #1 status back and after that, he could retire. That would prove he beat a Deadly fighter, who was also Champ, at 147 and give him some legacy credit at 147.

Would he do it?
Probably not; he is retired. If he comes back and doesn't make the fight, that hurts his legacy even more at 147, which shouldn't be that hard considering it wasn't that great anyway.

Mayweather was winning by 2 rounds until KO. Margarito was winning until KO depends on how you scored it

The weight issue wasn't the downfall of Ricky Hatton in that fight, it was just him getting beat by a much better fighter, and from Hatton's own mouth he had no trouble making 147 and apparently was in "Great Shape".

Rematches are made because of the 1st fight being competitive and what $$ can be brought in a rematch. The only thing selling that fight would be the return of Floyd Mayweather, but he'd would also get clowned by the media as if they all of a sudden forgot about how their first fight turned out.

Basically...it's not happening. Pac vs Floyd is the fight that makes sense. Plus...there's a few WW I'm sure would love a crack at Floyd if he needs a tune up since he'd body them anyway right?
