                                    Joe Calzaghe didn't have much of a Light-Heavyweight resume when he fought the great Bernard Hopkins, just before Hopkins destroyed Kelly Pavlik.

                                    In fact, he had never fought in such a high weight division.

                                    Give Haye a break.

                                        Joe fought as high as 178. I think it was against Eubank's cousin, Bobbie Joe Edwards? Also he came in around 175 for Robert Curry and Warren Stowe.

                                        I think I'm right on this, I'd have to go looking on BoxRec to confirm.

                                        However, it was very early in his career and is kinda irrelevant anyways. You're right in that he never fought anyone worth mentioning at LHW.
