        jesus Pully, whats with all this love for Campbell? Boxing needs exciting fights and theres nothing more exciting than 2 ****s in the ring going at it.

          yeah, all I'm trying to say is that a fight with campbell is for all the marbles at 135. diaz is a good build up fight for campbell though... hopefully that is the next fight down the line.

                  Diaz sells big tickets in Houston, I'm sure they talked to JMM about the fight being bigger money in Houston and he accepted.

                    Willie Savannah, manager/trainer of former unified lightweight champion Juan Diaz, has informed BoxingScene.com that a fight with Juan Manuel Marquez is close to done for February 28, with HBO televising. The venue is still not finalized, but Savannah has informed me that Marquez has reportedly changed his stance on taking the fight in Diaz’s backyard of Houston, Texas. [details]
