I honestly dont think the PAcquiao camp will look for a 3rd with Marquez. I've come to terms with that and its cool in my book if it doesnt happen. Hatton and Mayweather are bigger fish to fry for Pac. Who knows, maybe Pac is holding off on Marquez for his "farewell" fight.

i was hoping for diaz as the farewell fight. he's good enough win but he's not yet a big name so he can be had for cheap so the fight can be in araneta coloseum.

as far as pac-jmm 3 , i was confident a 3rd would happen but with ****** floyd possibly coming back it could ruin ****. i wished the fool would just stay retired......or at least come back against cotto or marg instead of waiting for someone smaller to come up and fight him.

i love to hate jmm , it's part of being a fan of boxing to love your guys and hate their rivals , but jmm-pac fights are can't miss tv.

if he had beat nate a juan-pac fight would have been made but he lost and oscar needed an opponent. if it wasn't for oscar , pac would have fought jmm 3 already.

First, i just want to say that i respect both JMM and Diaz. The only problem is some of their fans that belong in Hater group.

I am picking JMM over Diaz. I see JMM targeting Juan's belly, causing him to fatigue by the 5th or 6th rounds. Diaz will also be facing a fighter with great boxing skills and a P4P fighter. JMM will counter Diaz. JMM by UD.

The ONLY way that Pacfans disrespect this win by Marquez (if he wins against Juan Diaz) is when Xcaret, ferocity, Mayan Sun and other haters starts disrespecting Pacquiao. Telling to Pacfan's faces how much better is marquez than Pac and that he won against a young very good fighter in Diaz.

Since this is automatic for Xcaret, ferocity and others....I'm sure Pacfans can think of many ways to degrade Marquez again. But I'm telling you before this fight even materialize, I'm rooting for JMM and this win will be big for his legacy.

Well, I don't know about that. Of course being a Pac fan you probably ignore it, but after his loss to Morales and his draw with Marquez he whined as much as Marquez ever has. These things are always ignored by the Pac fans that talk about Marquez' supposed whining.

Go back in your memory and try to remember the crap that went on after those two fights and some of the many things that were said by him. I don't care either way if a fighter does it because they have put so much on the line that getting pissed about a close loss, even though the first Morales fight wasn't controversial, is pretty normal in my opinion. Just don't pretend that Marquez is the only guy to do it and that Pac is free of this ****e, cause he isn't by any stretch.

I really can't decide on this fight. If this was happening two or three years ago I would say Marquez without question, but he has slowed quite a lot recently. I think his age is starting to effect him and while it is not great, it is enough that he is now getting hit more and his movement and reflexes are slowing quite significantly, as well as his hand speed which is probably the most noticeable thing that has slowed. I was recently watching his fight against Medina, and then watching him in his last fight, it is a pretty big difference and I think that it could be the big decider in this fight.

If Diaz can get in close enough for the majority of the fight then he should be able to outwork Marquez. He is also quite a lot bigger than Marquez and is probably stronger too. Marquez' body punching could be a big factor if he goes hard early to Diaz' body, and if he can keep it at long range and counter with hard shots then it's possible that he could take it, but I think either way, it is going to be a very hard fight for both guys.

You're a good guy Chups and one of the unbiased Pac fans. I agree that the guys above are your garden variety haters, but it does run both ways, which I'm sure you see and recognise, just check out the post right underneath yours. That's like the opposite of Xcaret. How anyone can disrespect either of these fighters is absurd. They both give great, enjoyable fights to watch and are both brilliant fighters. What's not to like?

Anyway, I think the normal fans that enjoy boxing and not one fighter are pretty obvious, and anyone that enjoys boxing couldn't help but being a fan of both Marquez and Pac. How could you not enjoy watching the different fights and styles of each guy, unless you're one of the sad haters, of which there are too many sadly?
