I really dont know much Pinoys (or at least even one) who thinks of Marquez as not a good fighter. Its his whining that's turning people off and is the reason why people mock him. He should just man up and take a loss like a man.

don't get me wrong...... this fight will be pretty good. diaz and marquez style should prove entertaining.

problem is i was kinda hoping , as a pac nuthugger , for 3 fights......hatton , marquez 3 and diaz (after he beats nate in the rematch)

with this fight.....i don't get to see those 3......unless marquez-juan is a draw.

Im going to go on record and say I've never hated on Marquez....but i honestly believe Juan Diaz is the most overrated, overhyped fighter of the last 5 years aside from Amir Khan. And Marquez is going to prove my point.

diaz has unified LW and fought punchers and boxers alike. campbell caught him on a bad night beat him up to the head and body and cut him, but juan fought on the whole 12, how can you hate on him??

I honestly dont think the PAcquiao camp will look for a 3rd with Marquez. I've come to terms with that and its cool in my book if it doesnt happen. Hatton and Mayweather are bigger fish to fry for Pac. Who knows, maybe Pac is holding off on Marquez for his "farewell" fight.

The fact that he unified the lightweight division is the entire reason why i think he's overrated. Yes he unified the LW division. But look who he unified with. He won his 1st belt from Larkva Sim. A mediocre fighter at best. A ready to be put out of his misery Popo Freitas. And another over the hill fighter in Julio Diaz. None of whom could really test him. And he's regarded as a great fighter because of that?? Like I said. Just watch how badly Marquez breaks this dude and debate me again.
