How the hell does any pro fighter have it easy?
The top P4P Boxers have it easy, they barely train at all

you must not have read the initial post. say a fighter has 3 fights, that means he trains 8 weeks for each fight. That means he will train 24 weeks out of the whole year for the fight. 24 weeks is 6 months. Then you add fight night which is another day for each.. That's 6 months and 3 days... so you can say they are fighting part time since they aren't always in the gym but I don't think we could expect anyone to be a full 11 month boxer out of the year without burning themselves out.Are you saying boxers have it easy? It's hardly 'part-time'. All the sacrifices they make!! If they're fighting, say 3 times a year, if you include the training camp times for those fights it adds up to a lot of time.
And they have to keep themselves ticking over when not in training - unless their name is Mr.Toney

Prizefighters don't just train for their fights. They train all year round staying in shape. But when the 9 weeks come they train super sav to get in fight shape.What....they have 2-3 fights a year?
8 weeks of preperation for those fights?
So altogether they work for 6 months of the year and the rest they have off, how can i possibly idolise or respect someone who works trains half the year.
Joe Calzaghe being an exception cuz hes in rainy Wales where the women look like swamp pigs, that said his gf is smokin hot!
They say boxing is hard but at best its a part time job lol
That's how it goes. Same thing with the big shot fat cat CEOs of a major corporation. You think they work hard?Comment

I swear you guys are dumb.. Training is very hard, it is. But with the money they make and 6 months of vacation time.. I would never pass up on the offer if I had the skills! Y'all act like you know what goes into training for a fight anyway and you don't.Comment

The same goes with Erik Morales, the top prize fighters only train 6 months a year.Comment

Compared to boxers in the past...yes! Boxers in the early-mid 1900's, use to fight 15-20x per year. Sometimes only days/weeks apart. Are you saying boxers have it easy? It's hardly 'part-time'. All the sacrifices they make!! If they're fighting, say 3 times a year, if you include the training camp times for those fights it adds up to a lot of time.
