Both the 8 mil & 4 mil offers are bull**** ass tactics by the promoters.

One thing though you can't call Margarito a ducker, he already fought Williams.

Floyd on the other hand didn't fight Margarito.

I am totally sick of this bull****. Hopefully Paul Williams stays at 154 and above and Margarito stays at WW so we don't have to put up with this endless bull****.

What I'm saying is Margarito fights who they tell him to fight. Just like every other boxer with a promoter.

Thats the the thing I never called PBF a coward for not fighting Margarito. I knew Tony was a high risk low reward fighter and very few promoters are willing to risk everything for peanuts.

Paul Williams drew about 2000 people to his last fight in Nowhere california(Most were there to see Arreola). He's never headlined an actual PPV event and his rumored fight with Winky will be a snoozer and should draw maybe 4thousand people at most. His two fights with Quintana were held in small clubs which again drew about 2000 people.

Antonio margarito while finding new found fame after beating Cotto is still a good ways away from selling out an arena on his own and at his peak before cotto sold out a tennis stadium with Williams (woopty freaking dooo).

So tell me where in the hell is this fight gonna generate 4million$ for Margarito?

Tony would get 4million if he fought De La Hoya so how can any promoter with a straight face say they are gonna get Tony 4million for fighting P. Williams?

Does Gossen have a money tree in his backyad?

Will Tony have the Tijuana Cartel take Arum Hostage and demand Tony get payed 4million for his fight with P. Williams?

Is Gossen gonna pay Margarito in Monopoly Money?

The truth is this was not a serious offer folks!!!! Gossen knew Arum would reject this offer because he stands to make zero profit off this fight. Now Gossen can pull an Arum and will now market his fighter as the most feared in boxing when the truth is this is no diffrent than what Arum did with Margarito to floyd 3 years ago.

So the bottom line is Wiliams will fight Margarito when Paul grows a ****ing personality, grows a following(Yeah right), or is the only challange left in the division. Accept it because when comes to boxing the name of the game sure as **** isn't pugilism. It's ****ing money!!!!!

Mhmmm...Paul needs a personality I agree. But you act like Margie is interesting.

Language barrier! Tony has lots of personality quirks that you are not gonna pick up on unless you speak spanish.

I wasn't calling you out in particular. I know nothing about your posting history, so...

But I have heard this argument made by actual Margarito fans who said that Mayweather was a coward and the $8 million was guaranteed.
