He's never headlined an actual PPV event and his rumored fight with Winky will be a snoozer and should draw maybe 4thousand people at most. His two fights with Quintana were held in small clubs which again drew about 2000 people.

Antonio margarito while finding new found fame after beating Cotto is still a good ways away from selling out an arena on his own and at his peak before cotto sold out a tennis stadium with Williams (woopty freaking dooo).


So tell me where in the hell is this fight gonna generate 4million$ for Margarito?

Tony would get 4million if he fought De La Hoya so how can any promoter with a straight face say they are gonna get Tony 4million for fighting P. Williams?

Yes it was guerenteed but again that was the point! Gossen knew Arum would reject it because Arum would lose money if he took the fight. Again you keep thinking that Margarito rejected the fight when in fact it was Arum smart guy. 8 million with floyd is very diffrent because floyd is still 3 times more popular than Tony and more importantly Floyd is his own ****ing promoter. He has to put up money for fights himself so yeah he offered 8 million but how much of his own money was he gonna have to put into his own promotion of the fight?????????????
