now NOONE can say Haye is not being realistic.......I give Haye a chance and thats all a fighter with his talents and attributes need. This will be a tough fight for Vitali, regardless what the critics and skeptics think of Haye's chin.

Haye said the same things before the Enzo fight, he has always known his chin isnt great.

Well my respect for Haye just went up a lot...

It's nice to see a boxer that doesn't think that he is invincible like most do.

How can anyone hate this guy? He's confident in his ability but also knows he has a suspect chin.

At least he knows his weaknesses.

I think Haye bit off more than he can chew with this. I thought he had a chance against Wlad, but Vitali's chin is 10x his brother's. Not only that, Vitali arguably hits harder and is more aggressive than Wlad. I can honestly see Haye getting wobbled by a stiff jab from Vitali, so I can't imagine what a straight right would do to him. The only way I can see Haye winning is if he floats like Ali and boxes for 12 rounds, but I don't think he has the lungs for that. Sorry, David, I like you as a fighter, but Vitali KO(cold) by 5.

Haye was very sloppy in the fight with Barrett, he opens up and gets of balance alot.
Vitali seemed very happy with what he saw from ringside

unless age catches up with Vitali, i think he knocks Haye out in 5 Rounds

I like when Haye speaks. He is knowledge of the game and he speaks truth. Of course, if Vitali lands flush he will stop Haye. He is 10 feet tall. Haye has confidence in his boxing ability to overcome that.

It will be a good fight.

A truly confident person, whether it be athlete or any other pro person, knows exactly what they are capable of and their limitations. They are also not afraid of them or of saying them. What is the point of pretending to hide it? There isn't one. He doesn't feel the need to say "Klit could never KO me. I'm way too tough." because he knows, quite truthfully, that if he did get hit with a flush punch it will be lights out.

Knowing this gives him two great advantages. One, it means that he knows for a fact and from the opening bell that he can't get caught. Two, it means that he will have to play a solid game of good boxing. Using fast counters, hit and not get hit. We don't know if Vit can be hurt by Haye, but we do know that Haye can be hurt by Klit. The more you know about what to expect, the more you know about what may transpire and the more you can plan to prevent things going wrong.

I still can't figure out why people don't like Haye. Whether or not he is a **** or maybe even doesn't deserve to jump straight to the big fight at HW, he is a massive and desperately needed breath of fresh air in a despondent division. He truly can save HW boxing and bring it back to the fore. Klit fans should love Haye right now.
                      Astute, knowledgable and well written.

                      Great post.

                      Thanks Benny
