David Haye - "If Vitali Lands Flush, He Will Stop Me"

Former undisputed cruiserweight champ David Haye is not trying to distort the truth. He knows the limitations of his questionable chin. During a recent interview with Steve Bunce, Haye said WBC champion Vitali Klitschko would knock him out if he manages to land a flush shot. [details]

I agree this fight is bigger than the WBC title. No one knows who the heck Gomez is, even though he's a decent boxer and stands a chance of outboxing Vitali over 12 rounds if Vit can't stop him. And Haye should just stick to smack talking, perhaps he's trying to get into Vit's head.

Not too confident now hey Gaye? That's ok, Vitali prolly leave you be for 2 or 3 rounds.

Haye just admitted that he has a glass chin

Vitali is very accurate and hits hard as hell, he will land flush early and KO Haye. Easy KO win for Vitali.

At least he admits it and Lewis did stun Vitali a couple of times in their fight.

I guess it is good that he knows hisn own weaknesses and is not lying to himself. Damn though, I don't think I can ever recall a fighter saying this in a lead up to a fight he wants.

Maybe he wants Vitali to be over confident.

              Very interesting.

Not if your name is David Haye. He has said similar things in the past. Haye is always confident and truly believe in himself. He wants to prove himself against the very best and he has the tools to beat anyone out there, but at the same time he knows he's not perfect and he can get KO'd and he has no problem talking about that.

If you ask me, it's a ploy. Haye wants Vitali to feel confident, so that he can take advantage. I KNOW it's a hard fight, but I have the utmost faith in Haye to win this.
