i actually watch mma for the grappling.

it looks funky when a wrestler and a jiu-jitsu guy try to box.

it's too bad ufc is prefers the barroom type brawlers over the technician grappler and submission guys......

i like seeing the low kicks and knees from the muay thai guys though. that's the only time i like mma striking. their boxing is ****......

I have never watched a Mayweather fight where I rooted for Mayweather. I watched his fight hopings he'd get beaten... Yeah, I respect his skills, I just don't like his style of fighting, too boring for my taste.

I'm just as impressed with seeing a guy manuver into a position to get an armbar lock as I am watching Tyson manuver people so he can KO them.

Different skills but if you understand what you're looking at it's just as impressive.

Well I guess I respect Pacquiao's fearlessness and nice guy attitude more than Floyd's safety first, ******* attitude. So in that respect I give more props to Manny.

Thing is I respect Floyd's claim to fame more than Pacquiao's. Manny still has that unresolved business with Marquez which makes me have reservations about putting a man in the #1 p4p spot while still knowing that there is a fighter out there that might be better than him. Plus, Floyd earned his #1 spot more than did Pacquiao who only gets the #1 p4p ranking out of default because Floyd is out of the picture for now.

                yup. people don't understand that.

plus with the standup rules in the ufc...... sucks for the great technical grapplers.

Mayweather demands respect, Pacman earns it.
