Holyfield can freakin die in that ring. 46 years old? I hardly think that Holyfield is in tip top shape.

What does he think this is? Fight Night? I would have retired a long time ago if i were Holyfield.

    Is he broke?

This writer is ALL that is wrong with boxing today. Holyfield was gifted against Oquendo to get his first title shot.

Holyfield is a joke and he has ZERO chance of winning this fight.

its going to be sad to see holyfield fighting valuev...i mean he's outsized clearly...valuev is a ****ing GIANT at 7ft 320lbs...

not to mention holyfield's prime has come and gone...i really respect the man and think he should have already retired in my opinion he has absolutely NOTHING left to prove.

i obviously would LOVE to see him win but on the other hand i'd like to see him lose in the least painful way as possible (to further convince him to retire). if he wins it would only convince him more to continue to fight and i think its best for his safety and well-being to retire.

he's had a great career and i've enjoyed watching him fight but enough is enough.

best of luck in and out of the ring to holyfield.

Would love to see him win this fight get the title and defend it for a pay day....Wish he was 15 years younger and he could dethrone one of the Klitty's that would be great but I will settle for the first option.....Lefty

I don't wanna sound dramatic but i reckon it's all gonna end in tears for Evander. He has a heart condition; deep in debt so he has to carry on fighting; and is approx 8yrs past the point when he should have retired.

He'd probably carry on, even if he'd saved all the millions he has accumulated these last 20yrs or so, but it's not looking good.

I just hope he can get through the Valuev bout, without serious injury, then call it a day.

              But i doubt it.

Holyfield is as shot as can be.
I hope he calls it quits after he loses to Valuev.

He looked a pitiful sight a few years ago against Toney.
