Yes, he has a very good resume IMO.

I rate his abilities higher than his resume, as I felt he deserved the decision in the rematch with Pacquiao and the fight with Chris John. The Norwood fight could also have gone his way in the eyes of many people, although it was very hard to score.

Didn't JMM fight who ever they put infront of him... That is good in my book. Never heard of anyone say JMM is ducking this person or that person. Probably because he fought who ever would fight him.

I scored the second fight with Pacquiao 114-113 for JMM. And he clearly defeated Chris John but was robbed.

Add wins over Pacman and John, and JMM has a very good resume!

Didn't JMM cry like a crybaby after losing a close fight to Pacquiao... I mean if you scored it 114-113 in favor of Marquez, that means it was a close fight. So, I don't know why he got so upset and said he was robbed. Robberies aren't close fights, there fights like holt when Holt won 8 rounds to dhops 4 and julie ledermans ******ed score card reads winner Dhop.

A robbery is a robbery no matter how close a fight was. If one fighter deserved to win over another he was still robbed of a win. Try telling a fighter who depends on wins as his livelihood that a close loss isn't a robbery and see what he tells you.

I laugh in there face and tell them they should have made it so one-sided that it wouldn't be close at all. I guess it shows how good pacquiao truly is since Marquez loses a close fight to the pacman

I'm impressed with JMM regardless of resume (which is good). JMM is an awesome fighter with sublime skills.

                    I agree here.

Marquez's problem has been mismanagement and ducking, few people want to fight him. He was Hamed's mandatory forever and never got that shot.

Marquez's best wins have been against Casamayor, Barrera and Manuel Medina. Not amazing but the talent is there.

His loss and draw to Pacquiao were greater accomplishments given the heart he put forth in those fights.
