I guess you missed the bit when he picked himself off canvas three times, to then claw his way back into fight where most people who wear glasses saw him win 11 rounds in a row! No surprises the rematch was put off for so long. I put thta fight as one of the biggest robberies I saw live. JMM was a highly avoided fighter and that so called 'D' fight shows why! He potentially could have beaten all his peers if they dared face him! Robbed of greatness just like Sugar Shane who in his prime had Trinidad and Quartey **** scared!

Kostya Tszyu is a bit overrated IMO... his resume is filled with names that were considered good at the time, but his biggest wins have ended up being less than great fighters (Judah & Mitchell).

Shane Mosley is about as overrated as anyone I can imagine. He has one good win with no strings attached... ODLH at 147. Other than that, his biggest wins were ODLH at 154 (bad decision), Vargas at 154 (life and death with a past it Vargas) and rematch with Vargas at 154 (shot as ****). He has good wins over Holiday, Collazo, Mayorga, etc., but none of them are really world beaters. In addition, he got dominated in 3 of his 5 losses... really badly. The mark of a great fighter is one who is always competitive, no matter who is facing. Shane was less than competitive against Wright both times, and did not win more than a round against Forrest in their first fight.

There's a good start for this thread.

By the way, these guys are all very good, and calling them overrated is incorrect, because that term is reserved for people like Jeff Lacy or Zab Judah, who just completely fall off, but... these guys do get more praise than they should IMO.
        Good Stuff!!!
