If that was his plan he would not have retired

Floyd has more than just ring rust. This goes for all boxers and many other specific sport athletes: I don't trust them after they get into their 30's. It's why I agree with Freddie to call it career after a couple more fights for Pac. Although, given some posters calling Floyd a ***** for retiring at 30, I wonder if the same will happen with Pac.

Age, inactivity, bad hands, possible bad back...and the way he has been fighting since moving up to 147; it favors Pac in my opinion. You have to remember, Floyd does in fact have a lot of wear and tear. He had a long amateur career and consistently trained in the Mayweather ways. Wear and tear isn't just what is taken away inside the ring on pay-day, but also what you do in the gym; and Floyd's been training since he was a small child.

It obviously wore him down Mentally; that and his kids according to him.

If Pac were to retire after taking on Hatton and Floyd, what would be "*****" about that? He took on the greatest mexicans of our era, moved up from 106-147, and would have fought the previous pfp#1 and the reigning 140lb champ AT 140! Pretty ***ing impressive if u ask me.

Roach is just opportunistic. He knew what was up with Oscar and knew a fight at 147 would be perfect based on history like he said.

He sees where Floyd is at right now and where he should be by next year, so, take advantage. Few will point out where Floyd is possibly at Mentally and Physically, so why not take advantage.
Roach knows his fighters is in his absolute Peak, while Floyd, years past it.

It's worth the risk for Roach.

It was in reference to a post response I got that a fighter {Floyd in this case} should have fought past his prime...35+ age...to really test himself and not retire in his "prime," which I debated if Floyd was in his prime anymore given his Mental and Physical status.

Anway, I posted many times before that a fighters should be able to retire at anytime he wants.
I wouldn't even care if the fighter fought for 5 years and retired at 25 after clearing out say, the 140 and 147 division right now. It's his choice.

Of course he is. Pac is truly a remarkable fighter that is in his prime and has managed to grow into his weight quite well. So well, that he can't fight at 135 anymore and shows up at 147+ for fight time. I was even surprised to hear he was in the 150's and had to come down in weight. He is thick, strong, fast, and overall just a great fighter with an incredible "Will" to win.

But, it helps your confidence taking on certain fighters at certain points in their career.

He knows his limits, which is why he is going to fight at 140 and not 147. Floyd knew those same limits.

A Mayweather Paquiao fight will pull the U.S. out of the recession with all the revenue that will be generated!!

It needs to happen NOW while Wrestlemania/Dancing with the stars/ & the Hatton KO is still fresh in everyones minds. I preddict a summer clash between these 2 would clear 1.75 million buys easily.
