End of the day...Kessler Lacy."Hey, Joe, you have other options now that you've defeated Hopkins. Manny people feel that Roy would not be much of a challenge since he is way past his prime, could Pavlik or Dawson be in the picture?"
"Dawson? Pavlik? Bullocks! I beat Kessla! Could Pavlik or Dawson beat Kessla? Kessla! Kessla Kessla Kessla, Kessla? Cmon Kessla!"Comment

While the jingoism on this board is annoying, I don't fully agree with your viewpoint.
A fighter based in Europe will often get less attention in America than a fighter based in America. The time and location of his fights pretty much guarantee that. Therefore, when it comes to choosing an opponent, a top European does not offer enough money to an American boxer who is in search of an opponent.
Is it true in all cases? Of course not. But it is certainly true in some cases. A good example of this is Taylor choosing Lacy and $$$ over Froch and a title. It's not bias, it's not racism, it's simple economics.
3 potential fights do not sum up the entire situation.
Williams-Dziniruk seems to be a case where one camp says one thing, the other says something else. What makes you believe Williams rather than Dzinziruk?
The only info I can find on Sturm-Forrest is a few lines on ESPN that come from Gary Shaw. What makes you convinced that he is telling the truth, or that his offer was realistic?Comment
