Get this in your heads: Calzaghe is about to retire.

Seriously, post one more masterpiece, then **** off. That's what I say.
Well until he does, we'll discuss it.

unfortunately, both camps don't feel the same as Kessler turned Dawson down and Hopkins wont even mention his name.

dawson is a good fighter in terms of speed, angles and offense he is top drawer. but there are still a few questions imo - he was hurt for instance by johnson, his stamin has never been that great and i personally think that he has a style in which oxing nous and ring savvy are important. he doesn't enough pop to keep his man off him and imo needs to learn a bit more and improve his ring generalship.

imo in 2/3 years he could be an awesome fighter, which is why i think joe should take the fight with him now while hes still a little raw. hes a fighter who is only going to get better so is joe is going to face him do it now.

right now i think hopkins, kessler and joe all beat dawson.

There is equal chance that in 10 year we will look back and say:

            1. "there was that good prospect that the Americans hyped back then called something Dawson, he had only beat to 40 year old neither of who where really top quality, then as soon as he stepping in a ring with anyone good he got smashed"

            2. "Man LHW has ****** for the last ten years, Dawson has been champ but who has he fought? his best name is an old and worn Johnson who was never really all that good and he nearly beat him"

            3. "Wow Dawson started by beating some old guy's but he sure has had some wars down the years, LHW has saved boxing and Chad is a good portion of that HoF for sure"

He might, but I don't see LHW, CW, or HW bein hot divisions for a while. He's gonna have to step up his intensity in the ring and produce more KO's to really blow up. he's got the talent but he don't always make for really excitin fights.

Why you guys even debate Calzaghe? According to him Boxing is dying so in a few years no one will debate who was better chad or joe!

Can you give some insight on what makes you think Dawson is a just a "bum"? What in his resume makes you believe that. What in his game gives you that idea? Would you care to elaborate on your opinion?
