its a lose/lose situation for Floyd Mayweather

i see alot of threads circulating the internet talking about the possibility of mayweather facing pacquiao.. but it seems like a lose/lose situation..

many fans want to see mayweather/pacman.. and some fans wanna see mayweather/margarito..

according to many idiots, if floyd fights pacquiao than he is a ***** for not fighting margarito, and if floyd fights margarito than he is a ***** for not fighting pacquiao..

im in favor of both i wouldnt mind seeing both fights happen.. but here's the difference.. although i wouldnt mind seeing those fights, i do not think floyd is obligated to fight either fighter..

and what's really messed up is all of the sudden he is considered a coward if he decides to stay retired.. honestly that's not right.. how much hatred for one man do you have to discredit his career like that??

"oh if floyd doesn't fight pacquiao, he is a coward" or "floyd is a ***** blah blah" or "floyd has to fight margarito, cotto, williams, collazo, pacquiao, chad dawson, joe calzaghe, and the klitchscho brothers if he wants to be considered great..."

floyd is not a big fighter yet he has jumped up several divisions and beat everyone in his path.. he is one of the best fighter's of this era whether you like his personality or not you gotta respect his talent and what he has accomplished in the sport because there are not too many fighters like him and what he has done will probably not be duplicated..

and if floyd decides to fight either fighter or both and happen to beat them, he still probably won't get credit

Floyd wouldn't get credit for beating Margarito and Pacquiao?

      That simply isn't true.

Yeah, there are some ****** people on here who say stuff about Mayweather, but they won't grow up to be boxing historians or professional journalists, and their opinions mean nothing/very little. However a large number of sensible, intelligent people have legitimate criticisms of Floyd's choice of opposition, and the ****** Mayweather haters don't change that fact.

He beats Pac he gets nothin but a payday. He beats the top WW, he shuts up all his critics and nobody can call him a coward anymore. His rep is unquestionable.

if PBF gets out of retirement and beat PAC then go to beat Margarito...

I am sure he will receive all the credit he deserve and then some...

but even for floyd it would be hard to accomplish beating PAC & Margarito back to back...

Floyd will get credit from everyone in the world for beating Pacquaio except the hardcore haters. Its not a lose/lose situation a win over Pacquaio will look really great on his resume when people are breaking down the greatest fighters of all time. I actually think it will look a lot better than if he were to fight Margarito or Williams.

It's a lose/lose situation only if Mayweather is genuinely tired of the sport and doesn't feel he would get something from the sport anymore, money included as money has no emotional value.

If he does it just for the sake of his fans, it's a lose/lose situation.

Most of you won't understand this concept, but that's okay.
Most of you don't understand "If power asks why, then is power weakness" either.
