he had exclusive philippine tv rights which is about $2 million and he made an addition $6 million or so from the ppv.

Agreed, people always forget Mayweather walks around light and is a small WW fighter. He weighs 149 come fight night and Manny P is 148. Mayweather should fight at 140 becasue if Pacman beats Hatton he will have ring title. And if Mayweather beats Pacman that means he has 3 won ring title. Also Mayweather is a smart man, he would not take a fight at 140 if it knew that would weight drain him.

I don’t care if Pacman wins seriously, as long as this fight is made. This would determine P4P of the decade and if Manny wins ATG Top 20 IMO

All I said was the fight should be made at 147 and have a cap by fight time with 149. The purpose was to skip dehydrating the fighters for the weigh-in; keep them healthy.

And my reason against Freddie with the catch-weight was because it served only one purpose: to catch Floyd.

Yes Yes, I understand the making weight thing...but say you never heard of it and you were trying to explain it to your friend.

You tell him: This is a fight for the 140 pound title. He goes: OK; cool.

Come fight time, they show the fight-time weights and you have fighters that don't weigh 140; but 149.

He then says: YO, Flawless, WTF; where is the 140 pound Championship bout you promised me???

Actally, Floyd's the real welter and many others aren't. Floyd can lose two pounds and fight at 147 at that time; could the others?
