    agreed man, sure Holt's aggression wasn't effective the whole time, but at least he was trying to make a fight out of it and throw punches

    first title shot aside, the effort on Hopkins side of it was atrocious.

    you'd think a fighter would look to be hungry, push the pace, etc but from the opening bell D-Hop showed very little urgency.

    Demetrius did win some rounds, but to fight like that in a title fight, is just terrible.

    this is a Championship Fight. IMO you shouldn't have to be continuously tongue lashed round after round about not picking up the pace or what ever.

    and the worst thing is, Hopkins didn't really adjust his tactics, got a BS Split decision.

    thought he won anyway. used the "I didn't fight in 13 months, what'd you expect" excuse

    and had it a day.

    so sure Holt's side of the fight wasn't grade A

    but Demetrius ****ing blew it.
