are you saying that it's a flaw because he chooses to fight in a certain way or because he is incapable of fighting in a certain way?

He hasn't shown that he is capable of it recently so for now, I'll say he is incapable of doing so.

Last time I checked Floyd won that 1st Castillo fight...

And did it with a injured rotator cuff...

hmmm lets see he retired boxing in his prime with plenty of people to fight because he no longer has the joy or desire in boxing... no heart

He had no love in his heart for boxing anymore, but it didn't mean he didn't have "heart" when he was fighting.

A Fighter should be able to retire at any point. It's his life on the line, not the fans.

Like he said: he has Kids to think about now. Some people do tend to change or evolve once they reach a certain point in their life.

Freddie said he wants Manny to retire after a couple of more fights...which means, 1 or two years at the most. It will be interesting to see what Manny thinks.

We also have to look at Floyd's physical injuries with his hands, and back...more so the hands.
You also have to consider burn-out. He's been boxing since he was an infant and it wasn't such a great loving experience.
