Calling for Zu...Mosley and Oscar when they were all prime....

Fighting ODH at 154 pounds....with small gloves and a small ring.

No t to mention every time he fights someone hes smaller then them...and also lets not forget his bad hands.

And now coming back from being off a year doin nothing to fight the best fighter in the sport.

      Yeah he doesnt take risks.

      NEXT!
i meant risks in the fights themselves numbnuts, floyd fights a smart fight every fight but can get TOO defensive at times, times where he shouldve stopped his opponents, but instead played it cool and won by decision (zab, baldomir)

He doesn't deal too well with stiff, strong, snapping jabs, he backs straight up to the ropes sometimes, his chin gets high at times, when he lifts his left arm up to keep opponents at range, he's open to right hands to the body, he relies on one shot at a time too much etc.

He's just very good at covering his flaws and accentuating his positives, it doesn't mean they aren't there.

I wouldn't say he is flawless but he is as close as any boxer has ever been to being flawless.

I disagree. he DOES have flaws, but you know what? He's the smartest fighter in fighting. If you look at any of his fights, even early in his career, heck, even watch the Gatti fight. Floyd is really not that much faster than his opponents, or more powerful, but his timing and reflexes are amazing. But its the fact that he knows when to throw certain punches is what makes him great. If he wasn't as smart he would've got beat a long time ago. You can see sometimes when he loses focus for a split second and gets hit, but still he has a great chin.

Im a big floyd fan but some of you guys thread starter included are ***en idiots and the definition of fanboys/nuthuggers. You just pretty much said floyd mayweather is perfect NO ONE is perfect!! Michael jordan wasn't even perfect and he was alot better at basketball than floyd is at boxing.

those are not his flaws. everything floyd does has a purpose. floyd leaves the body open so that if a fighter goes for it, he will be in a very vulnerable position for flush counter shots. he relies on one shot at a time against brawling fighters. Watch floyd against a defensive fighter and you will see blazing fast combinations that rival the best in boxing history(yes even roy and meldrick).

Not everything he does has a purpose, it just looks that way, that right hand to the body can work against him but you need the angle to do it, take a step to the side when he lifts that arm and you can dig a right hand to the body while not being countered, if you go straight at him and then try the right hand, of course you're going to get countered. It's much easier said than done, but it can be done as I said, Mayweather is very good at covering his flaws, he's a smart fighter.

Relying on one shot at a time too much sometimes, it works for him but it's a flaw that can be exploited.

We haven't seen that Mayweather in a long time so I think it's a flaw now, he's become too defensive a fighter and that can be exploited too.
