I'm waiting for the usual morons to come here and claim that Toney would beat Wladimir Klitschko. Or did that train finally crash?

Toney's shot to sh.it as evidenced by tonight's dismal performance. His workrate was awful, his defense was loose, and he barely pulls the trigger. This represents a shot fighter....

From watching the last 2 years, his conditioning is subpar. I remember commentators saying that he just spar rounds and hit the punching bags for training for a fight. He did not do any roadwork.

Tonight was painful to watch as a Toney fan.

I had it a draw but giving the nod to Toney 114-113 for the point deduction.

Toney didn't look great but Fres makes it hard for judges because he seems to only fight parts of some rounds. Most maddeningly, it's most apparent in rounds that he's doing good things in.

Fres was open all night for Toney's traditional sharp punching, but couldn't for one reason or another pull the trigger. I don't think it's the conditioning, I think he's just lost it...
