James Toney Wins Controversial Decision Over Oquendo

Toney's been done for a couple years now. I thought for sure he lost this fight. I'd really like to see him retire. He looks slower both in reflexes and handspeed. Early in his Heavy career he could land those quick 1-2's over the top. Against Oquendo the openings were there and he couldnt pull the trigger.

From what I saw Toney still has it, IF he comes in shape. It was blatantly obvious tonight that he didn't put in the roadwork, not just the belly, but his legs looked after the 3rd rounds.

The fight was horrible, Fres was robbed, sad to say but Toney needs to hang them up (though he can still beat 75% of the heavyweights out there), but my main question is:

i'm a toney fan and had it 116-112 oquendo.
even toney looked suprized when they announced decision.
i look at my scorecard and outside of a 10-10 draw in the 4th
and a 9-9 8th round because of the point deduction, it was pretty much cut and dried
