I think Freddie and Manny worked out the numbers and figured a Pacman Mayweather fight makes more $en$e.

Besides, didn't Floyd's 39 opponents also see flaws in Floyd's armor?

I think Manny fights Hatton first then Mayweather. I also think Mayweather should get a tune up fight so that we can see if he has changed since his last fight with Ricky. I say Manny-Ricky in May, Floyd vs C rated fighter in May-June, then Manny vs Floyd in the end of the year (if Manny beats Ricky).

no fighter is perfect. every fighter has flaws. Pacman has some flaws too. its only a flaw if someone can take advantage of it. the only flaw i saw with PBF was he was to defensive at times.

Roach already said that when he was training Oscar.

Mayweather's biggest flaw will be his inactivity.

If pac had a longer reach he could land quite a few *right* hands (in form of hooks) with that handspeed, *IF* he is willing and able to eat a lot of counters.

Pac is small so the reach, and actually taking those counter punches would be a lot of a problem.

With Mayweather long layoff and resulting loss of sharpness, the fight would be more interesting, but...

The point is Mayweather is smart. In the unlikely but possible event that he gets beaten to the punch, he will be ready to do things we dont usually see him do,if he needs to: hold and hit, lean on Manny, wrestle him, and he'd be the bigger stronger man. Remember Hatton manhandled everyone at 140, and Mayweather ate him up on the inside too. Hatton could not even turn him in the cliches.

Manny is a very fast learner though, maybe Freddie can teach him (as in make them instinctive, not just doing drill) enough tricks, but it s not a sure thing at all.

I want manny to come out and call out Floyd. Does Mayweather have flaws? Roach, I dont know if you have his number like Oscar's. Being right in Oscar's situation, a fighter that you've spent time with and trained, is hardly figuring out Floyd. Floyd is not a hype job like Oscar for the past 5 years.

Get on T.V. and call him out Manny. Floyd I'm sure will gladly take that fight at 143.

freddy knows what he is doing a hatton fight will probably get manny 3-4 mill guaranteed and the ppv will do modestly well in the states. the hatton fight is bigger if manny can beat floyd. right now the avg british box fan doesn't know who manny is.

the biggest money fight for pac and one that might get him 6-8 million guanteed is the floyd fight. ppvs would avg over 1.5 millioon for a fight like this, gate would be probably surpass hoya vs mayweather.

all the money is with a floyd fight and freddy realizes this.

I wouldn't pay to see many beat hatton or lose to hatton (which is a real possibility) [I] would pay to see floyd vs manny for p4p supremacy

The Delahoya/Pac fight is gonna be on tonight [here in canada] on TSN..when i watched it the first time i had a few beers in me and with other people around i got a bit distracted.. and i made the effort to stay away from all youtube videos for a week so i can sit down and study it. [eh,maybe get a lil high] but after tonight i will be able to put a good and honest arguement on whether pac can beat floyd based on the delahoya fight..but quite honestly with that said..I REALLY dont know how pac will beat someone like Floyd Mayweather even without watchin it..but we'll see later tonight!!

I dunno, this fight is 50/50. Mayweather could lose due to inactivity. Manny could lose due to being counter punched to death. But I see Manny fighting a smart fight. They gonna watch the few moments Floyd had trouble like being dropped though never counted by a short right hook by Zab. Losing rounds due to inactivity to Oscar. I mean, you think he's perfect cause he's unbeaten but the opponents he's fought never tested him well enough like Manny would. Manny is going to put effective pressure on him unlike Hatton who just ran in like a blind bull. Manny doesn't rush in, he leaps in and out picking his spots when he sees openings. Floyd is gonna do his usual hang on rope and let Manny punch at him so he can duck and dodge and slip them, but Manny's punches are gonna be more precise and meaningful. I dunno, it's a 50/50. Should be good.
