Besides the diehards, who has heard of Jennings and Rubio? If this split-site card is going to be PPV it better be six fights and be the best undercard I have ever seen.

The ignorants in the world say the sport of boxing is dying. It's fights like this, should it be on PPV, that gives them that argument. Ali fought on the Wide World of Sports. But Cotto/Jennings & Pavlik/Rubio is PPV worthy? I understand that this is a different era but really?

People need to realize that it's not like Arum thought this was PPV worthy. The opponents are so weak that neither HBO or Showtime would pick it up, and Cotto and Pavlik make too much money for a station like Versus to pick it up. In order for this to be televised, there was no choice but to make it a Top Rank PPV.

I don't condone it, I think this is ridiculous, but it's not like this is what's wrong with boxing. People are going a little over the top with this.
