Wait a minute. Why should a fight with Hatton take place in the US? People talk about getting 30,000 Brits to fly over, but it so happens that neither of these fighters are American. It makes more sense to either have the fight in England in front of 90,000-100,000 people than a much smaller number in the states. The other alternative would be to get Hatton to fly over to the Philippines. Manny should get the choice of where they fight.

For the record, I ain't particularly interested in mayweather anyway. Floyd will want the fight at 147, and as far as I know Pac and Roach are not interested in fighting at that weight. It should be 140, and I don't see Floyd coming down that far because he gives away an advantage. At 140, the playing field is much more even for Hatton and Pac.

I agree with Ricky. Mayweather is retired. Hatton has stayed active and deserves a shot more so than Mayweather who seems to think he can just pop up and fight who he thinks is a safe fight, then crawl back into retirement having made a ****load of money. Then what? Pop up another 2 years later to grab some more money? I don't like this ****. The fighters who are active truly deserve the fights.

As Arum says, The Timezone is different and it would affect the PPV shares in the US...

I don't care. Everything is done to please the US and it sucks. There's a whole world out here and it doesn't (or shouldn't) always revolve around the USA.

That's bull****. There are always ways round this. I saw Haye at the 02 and they put him on at 2am so the Americans wouldn't miss out. I'm sure if the Hatton vs Pac fight does get held here something similar would happen.

The potential of this fight is massive. Everyone in England (casual fans) pretty much know who Pacquiao is now since he made a lot of noise from beating DLH and Wembley is the only venue in the world that would be suitable for such a stage.

100K in Englands newly built gem makes perfect sense and would sell out in days. The home advantage would be for Hatton because of this but I don't really think Manny would care.

I'm just praying it does get made here so I can be part of the occassion. My two favourite fighters clashing in my back yard

Who gives a **** about the Leprechaun?? Id rather see a fight between Pac and May for p4p supremacy! Besides Pac will murder Hatton, he's one dimensional and keeps showing me this time and time again..Always diving right innn..Even little Paulie caught him with a few check hooks to bad he had feather fists..

I'm pretty sure Pac will fight Hattoon first. If this fight happens in the States Hatton will have to win by K.O. cause if it goes to the cards, Pac will win because there is a lot of money to be made by fighting Mayweather; however, it will be a different story if the fight is in Manchester. (Hatton will be able to hold all he wants)

i already made my opinion known for a possible pac-hatton or pac-ugly boy floyd megafight. pac-hatton may bring in some good money for pacquiao considering the die-hard brits who will be rooting for hatton. but a pac-hatton would be a mismatch, i repeat, it would be a mismatch because of hatton's style. hatton is known for his predictable attack. nothing more.

but a pac-ugly boy floyd is a fight worth watching. ugly boy is hard to hit. he runs, hug and clings to his opponent. he is also fast. on one hand, pacquiao is the fastest learner of the sports. he know exactly what to do to bring his opponent down. he has tremendous fighting style which is hard to predict. pacquiao is a versatile fighter. he knows how to win the game in time.

pac will school ugly boy floyd.
