Froch: I'd rather face Taylor than Calzaghe

Carl has 5 years to do 15 years worth of work. He needs the fights to happen now. He has called everyone out at 160-168 and his mate Calzaghe, but he's getting no joy, so he goes to the press knowing that mentioning Joe and these other fighters so he can get his name out there and see if anything comes of it.

I don't think it looks clever with some of the stuff he says, but he needs to get peoples attention, because if he was just laid back and nice about everybody in the sport, he'd have no chance of making something happen.

Yeh I feel you on that aswell. But to be fair to Carl, he was for awhile a lot more respectful about calling Calzaghe out. That was probably working more, so he's kinda fu cked himself on it. I can admire Haye for calling out names, being ****y and all. But firstly he was the undisputed CW, that's worlds better than just winning some guys old belt. Plus Haye actually does all the **** talking a lot better than Froch, realises his chances, is clever with his words and the media.

Froch has none of these things, isn't favoured to do as well, and is a little naive to the boxing world at this level to be quite honest. He said he has the best trainer, promoter and team in the world, and they all believe Froch is the best SMW in the world. I know you hype, but not even Haye says that of himself at HW, or most other guys in SMW even at least so firmly. Pavlik nor Taylor are bigger fights, and even between those two I think he could easily come away with a loss. Let alone Kessler. So he has **** to focus on. Normally I'd feel sorry for a guy in that scenario but I struggle to given his words and attitude, he's going to look silly within 18 months.

Froch the typical inbred northern monkey has been talking **** about Calzaghe since 2002. He was an unknown bum back then and still is now. Froch will never fight Taylor, he'll pull out if the fight is in America.

The undefeated guy with an 11 years reign at SMW, undisputed #1 whom gave up the belt he just closely won, became the LHW #2, and is p4p #3 in the world.

He has to get in line behind Taylor, whom lost twice to Pavlik, and just beat Lacy whom Calzaghe ruined years ago???

I'm done supporting Froch. I have been supporting him and standing up for him for the last 6 years but now he has proved he is a prick. Since Calzaghe discarded the WBC belt because he had bigger fish to fry, Froch wins a vacant title against a nobody and thinks he's the ****.

And another thing -- Froch could have gained a lot of calzaghe's fans if he'd been a gent about this whole thing. What has he done now? He's turned a lot of people against him and will recieve nowhere near the amount of support he could have had from UK boxing fans.

I'm not surprised Joe won't give Froch a fight. Carl has done nothing but disrespect Joe for years, constantly putting out bitchy comments about him in the press and trying to ride his coat tails.

The only reason he's doing this is so he can claim "Calzaghe ducked me".

As if Joe gives a **** about "getting in line" behind Pavlik and Taylor. Joe would destroy Pavlik, Taylor and Froch in the same evening if he wanted to. None of them are anywhere near the level of Joe Calzaghe, and that's a fact.
