fighters that fight and stop all the once a year bull****. it seems even the up and comers are fighting less and less. how are you suppose to stay on top of your game with 1 or 2 fights a year?

We need the Undertaker some guys with mohawks trible tattoos and piercings.

On a serious note, boxing needs less fickle fans. This forum sounds like a bunch of washer woman with how much complaining goes on, people stream the PPV's then ***** about how much the cards suck.

it doesnt need to be saved boxing is fine but it could be a lot better!

          - I would take away all the phony belts and just have one champion per division/

          - I wouldnt do away with the PPV fights i think they are fine its just i would do away with the fights on regular HBO and showtime. Save the huge level fights for PPV and air those lower level type fights on free network TV like NBC or CBS.

          - Promote on free TV like crazy so everyone knows when the fights will happen whether they care about boxing or not cause just by checkin it out its how your lure casual fans to your sport.

I guess we're suppose to say put boxing gloves on their feet and legalized dry humping, or maybe put the fighters on a trampoline. Get the **** outta here with that saved ****. MMA and boxing is like the tortoise and the hare story.

It needs a figure that can capture the imagination of the whole world on many different levels...

Boxing must be not last but a VERY CLOSE second to whatever that stars main goal is... After he grows in it the role of champion then it will be on his shoulders to grow into the FACe of boxing.

It's going to take alot of hype.. and way more advertising that it has been in the past. Of course he has to be liked or maybe not liked but cherished by the fans.

His purpose outside the ring must make people like him as a person...

This mixed with a few other things and you will have the KING of boxing.]

Of course he must be WINNING while doing all of this.

And it won't be saved... it will be RETURNED TO ITS RIGHTFUL SPOT AS IT WAS!

                      ********************************************

well yeah getting the stream for free ... then complaining about how much the cards suck is kinda ***** like.

. but are you telling me that the Calzaghe/Jones fight card for example was great match making?

Hell I've probably had trips to the bathroom that have been more eventful then some of these under card fights .. the Salita bout, Judah's fight .. Christ everything seemed to just drag.

and for the record I didn't buy the card, but if I did, I'd feel like an absolute fool for it. $50 for that .. what the hell?

and the Dream Fight having a total of just 3 fights is also pretty lousy IMO.

Is that good **** for your buck ... 3 fights for $55?

sure Pain there probably is too much bitching.

but taking into consideration the asking price for most HBO PPV's which is usually around $50 .. if not over which is not exactly chump change

maybe HBO should increase the quality (just a suggestion)

I've read a post so delusional that a person on here actually thinks going to the movies is = in price to buying a Boxing PPV.

yeah it's close in price comparison ... only if you spend $45 on candy + popcorn.

so is there bitching yes. But I don't think it's totally un-necessary.
