What would it take to save boxing?

I really don't feel boxing is going anywhere anytime soon. It'll always have fans and be around. But for it to become a major sport once again...one champ per division (especially if you're gonna stick with all those different weight classes. Although less would be better too.), a few major fan-friendly superstar fighters, and major fights on regular tv on a regular basis.
Also, if the PPVs are gonna continue, they must be stacked with top-notch fighters and world title fights.

Boxing don't need savin. That argument is tired. It could use some improvin tho. No more PPV's, or several fewer w/ good undercards and lower prices. 1 ****in belt per division, or prompt unification fights/tourneys in the event of a splinter of any kind. More good fights on regular cable or network TV. No cherrypickin or pointless mandatories, just the best vs the best. And crack the **** down on excessive clinchin in fights.

they support JCC jr because of who his dad is. Meanwhile JCC jr fights cans. What a joke.
JCC jr has had a considerable amount of airtime on ESPN while some truly talented prospects are ignored. Is that good for the sport?Comment
