I dont think buddy stop s anything to soon... he cares about the fighters and ends up getting with fighters who are getting oblivion beat out of him... sure im thankful he didnt stop the gatti ward fight... but round 9? can you blame him really?Buddy was all set to stop Gatti vs. Ward I.
You had to be there in person to see it, but Buddy climbed up the steps to the ring with a towel in his hand and was all set to throw it in (I think it was the 9th round).
Somebody else from Gatti's corner grabbed him by his shirt tails and yanked him back down the steps.
Of course, the fight continued and went to a decision, and we were all treated to two more Gatti vs. Ward fights.
But I would have to agree with this thread that Buddy is getting into a habit of stopping these things a little soon.
Hate to say this, but perhapos Buddy has a few bucks bet on the over/under at the sportsbooks?
Nice way to make a living if you can get it.

While I do believe that Buddy is an excellent trainer, I'm just never in favor of having someone work your corner who wasn't with you in camp. All of the strategies and game plans you had been working on, the new trainer has no idea what you've been doing.Comment
